In 2005, a small rowing club started at Lyman High School in Seminole County. Over the years, the team grew and they decided to start a middle school program called Seminole County Rowing.
In 2022, the team voted to become Seminole County Area Rowing (SCAR) making it possible to include middle and high school students from across the entire Seminole County School District.
Our goal is to encourage and mentor the students of Seminole County through the sport of rowing. We are open to ALL students who do not currently have a rowing club at school.
